| Once serving a mining and logging route between Oregon and California, the bridge was closed in 1956. Repairs in 1965 and ongoing maintenance keep the bridge open to pedestrians. |
DIRECTIONS: Take highway
238 to Ruch, Oregon. Head south on Applegate Road following the Applegate Dam
signs to the town of MaKee Bridge. The span is located just south of town.
